I do not buy a lot of books. This is partly due to the financial limitations that I face and partly do to the fact I live in a tiny apartment and there is little space to put a book.
One book that I could not resist purchasing at a charity shop in Poole is entitled, “The Company of White Nights”, written by M.C. Mitchell. The book is reminiscent of decades ago when I dabbled in spiritualism while living in Basingstoke. In fact the group that I attended was called White Knights!
It takes me a while to read a book because I am so tied up with data science. Therefore, even though I have had the book a few years, I am just a little over half way finished with it.
The book, written by Claire Mitchell, is about her communication with a spirit in the fourth dimension, Jacques.
Jacques is a member of a discarnate group of messengers to fight the forces of evil on Earth. Jacques had been on the Earth in 17th century France, and had been married to a woman, Madeleine, who was Claire in the present day.
Each chapter of the book details a different mission that Jacques and his group went on in an effort to save humanity. These missions involved lots of prayer in an effort to avert disaster, and every mission mentioned was a success.
