For the past week I have taken a course from Alison, Probability and Chance in Mathematics. The course was comprisedof two modules and one assessment. The course consisted of videos demonstrated by instructors, with the modules being very well devised.

Because the course contained of only two modules of learning, I believed that the assessment would not be that intense, but I was wrong. The assessment had 20 questions, and many of them had not been covered in within the lectures.

I feel that the originators of the course were using the lessonsto try to draw people to use their tutoring services because they advertised the services in almost every video they produced.

I carefully studied and took notes on every video in the course, but I was in for a big surprise when I took the assessment. Fortunately I had familiarity with the questions that were being asked because I have been studying statistics and probability for a few years now.

Because many of the questions asked in the assessment were not covered in the course material, I cannot really recommend it to any prospective students. If a person wants to use the assessment as a source of practice questions then that would be a different matter entirely.

I have taken the course work and have answered the lesson material and assessment questions in both Python and Excel, with sample Python code being seen below:-
