This afternoon I was quite pleased to open my email inbox and find that I had won my 15th bronze medal for the work I undertook on a Kaggle competition. I entered the competition with no expectations of winning, so decided to embark upon some analysis in the form of seaborn displots and box plots just to add a little bit of visualisation to the Jupyter Notebook I had created. I also split the date into days, months and years, which helped in making sales predictions:-

I am quite pleased to have won another bronze medal. I would like to be able to devote more time to Kaggle competitions with a view to improving my score so maybe one day I will be able to write a post about winning a silver medal!

This post is based on the Jupyter Notebook I wrote for Kaggle’s September 2022 tabular competition. The post I wrote, where I went over the code I wrote in that Jupyter Notebook, can be found here:- https://medium.com/mlearning-ai/how-i-achieved-a-top-score-in-kaggles-september-2022-tabular-competition-772e336456bc
