This afternoon I was quite pleased to look at my emails and note that I had an email from Kaggle. I opened the email and saw that I had won another bronze medal, my 22nd one to be precise.
I won the bronze medal on Kaggle’s playground competition, season 3 session 4, which is about credit card fraud.
I used sklearn’s LogisticRegression function and set the hyperparameters up to endeavour to achieve a high accuracy. I have written a blog post on this competition question and it can be viewed here:- https://medium.com/mlearning-ai/how-i-used-class-weights-balanced-to-solve-a-class-imbalance-problem-in-python-cceaecd4c659
I would like to earn a silver medal, but I need to continue my studies to see if there is anything else I can learn to improve my skill in this subject.
