How to convert a csv text file to columns in Excel

In this post I intend to expand upon what was covered in the last post to demonstrate how to to convert a csv dataset to an Excel dataset. Converting a csv dataset to an Excel dataset is accomplished by using the program’s Text to Columns feature:-

Below is a small weather csv dataset that is used to determine if it is suitable to play tennis on a particular day:-

The Text to Columns feature can be found in the Data tab of the ribbon, as seen below:-

When the Text to Columns feature is selected, a window will come up and the Delimited button must be selected because the csv dataset is delimited by commas.

The Next button should then be clicked on to:-
