In past videos that I have made, I have carried out exploratory data analysis (EDAs) on datasets that have been loaded onto Excel. Some of these EDAs can be found here:-

  1. Sales dataset:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/use-excel-to-analyse-a-sales-dataset-64c28531c4ca
  2. Boson House Prices dataset:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/use-excel-to-analyse-the-boston-house-price-dataset-f5072cc4a7af
  3. Depressed people in India:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/perform-an-exploratory-data-analysis-eda-of-people-in-india-eebfa1608eae
  4. Iris dataset:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/use-excel-to-analyse-the-iris-dataset-7891b1c7e1d9

In this blog post I intend to carry out an EDA on an adult census dataset.

There was a problem with this particular dataset because column O, income, did not work for some reason. I there used an IF() statement in column P to show a 0 if the person earned less than or equal to $50k a year, and otherwise a 1, which appeared to work for the purpose of the EDA:-
