In my last video I performed an analysis in Excel of a sales order dataset and that post can be read here:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/use-excel-to-analyse-a-sales-dataset-64c28531c4ca

In this blog post I have created a dashboard in Excel for the same dataset. This dashboard is a little different from the other dashboards that I have used Excel to make, but if you would like to study them, you can find them in the following blog posts:-

  1. Boston House Prices:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/use-excel-to-create-a-simple-dashboard-on-the-boston-house-price-dataset-c9fce7faf80e
  2. Iris dataset:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/use-excel-to-make-a-simple-dashboard-with-the-iris-dataset-2e153dceb9f0

The dashboard that I have created for the sales order dataset can be seen in the screenshot below:-

The first item that I have put into the dashboard is the sales, profit, and profit margin. I accomplished this by creating a pivot table and summing the sales, profit and profit margin in Values window of the input screen:-
