The advent of free large language models has drastically changed the way that people are able to communicate their thoughts and opinions to others.
Large language models have also changed the way in which people work, leaving some in the workforce displaced. Many companies do not need to hire an expert in the desired expertise because large language models are available to pick up the slack. As a result of this many in the workforce have been made redundant because large language models are now doing the work that these individuals used to do.
ChatGPT was perhaps the first free publicly available large language model and people swarmed to it in an attempt to exploit the product’s benefits. I personally know one man who uses Chat GPT to edit his communications to this day (although he could do it with Copilot if he so desired). In addition, many people use ChayGPT to write emails, letters, and even books.
When ChatGPT initially became publicly available I used it to carry out my research and to even write test programs for me. The problem with using this platform was that it crashed a lot and I was having to repeatedly sign into the program. In addition, much of the programming code that ChapGPT gave me was either deprecated or just downright incorrect. As a result, I ended up having to search the internet trying to…
