I use Excel in my day job quite a bit. I am quite often tasked with preparing a report or chart in Excel, and lack of skill in a certain subject is not an option for me. As a result, I spend a lot of time searching Google in an attempt to find out how to complete a certain task in a report or chart that I am making.
When I saw an Excel tutorial on how to perform data analysis in the software package, I decided to watch it and see what tips I could pick up so that I can improve my analysis skills. The YouTube video is entitled Excel Data Analysis Tutorial and is produced by the channel, Learnit.
I watched the video, took notes, and contemplated on just how I would write the blog. But before I did, however, I had to solve a problem I had encountered with saving files. I don’t use my personal copy of Excel a lot, although I should because I pay for the subscription, so I was not aware of the fact that the spreadsheet tool had been changed to save files to the cloud. I do have a cloud account for Microsoft, but I don’t really use it, preferring to save my files to Google Drive. There was a problem with my cloud account, and I was worried about uninstalling it and reinstalling it to Excel. I spent several hours working on getting Excel to save my files, and if the reader would lille to know how I solved the immediate problem…
