After having watched the majority of a YouTube video on full stack web development, I decided to try out another video to see if I could learn some more about developing websites. The blog post that I wrote about full stack web development from beginner to pro can be found here:- https://medium.com/@tracyrenee61/youtube-course-review-full-stack-web-development-for-beginners-41cde0085b99

The next video that I decided to watch in an attempt to hone my web development skills was entitled HTML & CSS Full Course — Beginner to Pro. This video focused on HTML and CSS and did not include Javascript, which is essential for front end web development.

I dutifully watched the video and completed the exercises until I reached 2:16:12 of the video. At that point the task is to recreate a YouTube page, and that is not something that I would like to do at this stage in my professional development, preferring to focus on business websites.

I completed six lessons of the video, which very informatively covered the basics of HTML and CSS. This is a great course, but I did not want to recreate a YouTube webpage, so I decided to stop after the sixth lesson and pursue other areas of learning.

I suppose that is the great thing about learning independently: if one does not like a subject because he does not feel it will be of use to him, he can always drop that subject and move on to something that has the potential to be more fruitful.
