YouTube video review: Master A/B testing essentials: the ultimate Python powered crash course by LunarTech

Having watched the video and gone through the project that accompanied the crash course, I thought it would be wise the review it. One thing I will say about the video is the fact that the creator pushed paid courses several times within the video. This video, in essence, is merely a taster video that is intended to get people who watch it to go on to take paid courses:-
A/B testing is a method for evaluating changes or improvements for developing services and is common in many fields.
A/B testing, or split testing, originated from the statistical, randomised control trials and is one of the most popular ways for businesses to test:-
- New UX, or user experience, features
- New versions of a product
- New versions of an algorithm
The idea is to show the variated or new version of a product to a set of customers is often referred to as the experimental group. The second version of the product is called the control group.
