YouTube video review: The 10 stages of artificial intelligence

In the four years that I have been studying data science, I have noted some significant changes in the arena of artificial intelligence.

For example, the release into the public of ChatGPT and other large language models has had the effect of reducing the income of writers because people are referring to those models rather than searching the internet for the answers they seek. In fact, someone who I know professionally uses ChatGPT to write emails and reports.

I personally don’t care to use ChatGPT because the text was loaded into it in 2021, and there have been advances in the three years hence that I need to be aware of. Of course, people can subscribe to large language models for a fee, but I do not write large quantities of text so I cannot justify the expense.

I have noted that Microsoft Bing has a copilot function on its search engine, which is a large language model, and can be used to answer questions.

In order to complete this review, I asked copilot how old the text that has been uploaded is and the response was that the text that has been uploaded into copilot is constantly evolving.
